The LBB Association proudly presents the first-ever Gold Session, the grand prize of our new talent-support initiative, the DEMO TAPE SESSIONS. This unique format was created to spotlight emerging artists, offering a real studio live experience with analog live recording and a large audience right in the recording room.

About Teneia Sanders:
Teneia Sanders is an international touring musician and award-winning songwriter from Jackson, Mississippi. Her sound blends soul, Americana, and heartfelt storytelling. With seven albums released, she has toured across the U.S. and Europe and shared the stage with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Missy Higgins, Nik West, and The War & Treaty.
Her music has appeared in HBO’s Prom Night in Mississippi and several Netflix productions. As a U.S. Cultural Ambassador, she has performed across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Her anthem “Freedom” received multiple international music video awards.
In 2022, she became the third Black female composer for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, she won the Little Big Beat Demo Tape Contest, recording her session with drummer David Collum. Her Little Big Beat Recording Session captures her in a powerful moment of artistic evolution — raw, soulful, and deeply expressive.
