About The Event
In 2027, Hot Pants Road Club will celebrate its 40th anniversary. Yes, 40 years – not 35 as originally believed. Extensive research by independent historians, now backed up by archival material, has confirmed that the band first took the stage in 1987. Four decades full of groove and unforgettable moments are now reason enough to celebrate this special anniversary with a new stage show, coinciding with the release of a brand-new live album.
Since its formation, Hot Pants Road Club has established itself as a pioneer of funk and soul in Austria and as a mainstay of the Austrian music scene. Infused with elements of R&B and rock, the band captivates audiences with its energetic live performances both at home and far beyond Austria’s borders.
Rather than simply looking back nostalgically, the band’s 2027 show celebrates its shared history with fans and longtime companions. It spans the journey from the band’s musical beginnings to glimpses of what lies ahead. Fresh arrangements, surprising moments, and their trademark explosive stage presence promise a concert experience that brings together the past, present, and future.
40 years of Hot Pants Road Club – a milestone that deserves to be celebrated! Loud, heartfelt, and with plenty of soul…
